High Expectations

The imperfection in this piece of artwork is what makes it so fabulous. proportions are all off but they work here. i also like the texture used as a compliment to the image....very nice.
to me, this subject appears to be either frightened or afrais of what lies before her. sshe has a deea caught in head lights look about her. maybe the she is the one with the hight expectations and just realized they would never be met, but now i am applying my own feelings to the work. i try to be objective but it can be extremely difficult. expecially since i do subjective work...
the colors, last but not least, soften what could be a very dark and hard image. mgentas, reds, pinks, blues, purples, cyans...cool against warm - nice contrast...th txture adds to the contrast as well. soft against hard and broken. absolutely stunning....
i just wish i sould see what is reflected in her eyes....
